Homeless Angles Sew-a-Thon

  • The Commons of Williamston 201 School St. Williamston, MI 48895 USA (map)

Homeless Angels is a faith based organization based in Lansing that has an innovative approach to ending homelessness. They recently obtained approval to open a new Owosso campus to service the needs of the homeless, and those at risk for homelessness, in Shiawassee County.

A Charity Sew-A-Thon will be held Saturday, February 16th from 9-5pm at The Commons of Williamston. Lunch will be provided.

Anyone interest in car pooling can meet at the Byron park at 8:20 am. We will plan to return at 3pm so as to not interfere with any plans to attend the Village Marrieds date night that same evening.

If available, sewing participants are asked to bring:

  • a machine

  • scissors/rotary cutter

  • cutting mat, ruler

  • black and white thread.

Non-sewing participants are welcome to assist with ironing and cutting.

Homeless Angels does need an approximate head count to properly plan food. Those interested in attending should contact Janee Koc by call/text at (989) 915-1455 or email at jfkoc401@gmail.com.
