Our Christmas Eve Gathering isn't going to be just a regular Sunday morning church service. And it's not all happening on December 24th! There are opportunities to serve from December 16th to December 27th and it's all pointed at sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the community that gathers with us!
Here are the details:
- December 16th, 12pm-3pm - This will be a massive community outreach day. We have 1500 door hangers ready to go into Byron, Bancroft, Durand, and Gaines. Go with us as we invite the community to the Good News on Christmas Eve.
- December 23rd, 8am - We are planning to turn the atmosphere of the Byron High School cafeteria into a welcoming and warm Christmas celebration. Help us build the stage, decorate with trees and lights, set up chairs or technical equipment. Come and help make Christmas Eve a special moment for the community.
- December 24th, 8am - Things will start early on Christmas Eve! From final touches inside, to making sure teams are in place. Serve with the hospitality ministry in welcoming, caring for, and possibly praying with people. Help in the parking lot making sure all is safe and orderly. Spend time getting to know someone who comes out to join us.
- December 27th, 8am-1pm - The school is graciously allowing us to come back Wednesday to tear down and clean everything up. This provides a great opportunity for us to focus on the guests who come in and not have to begin tearing down immediately on Christmas Eve. Join the team that will return the Byron High School cafeteria to working order for the return of students the following week.
