Christmas in the Village

Join us for a night out with the community celebrating the Christmas Season!

We will have a float in the Light Parade, which starts at 6:30pm, with people singing Christmas Carols and walkers along the parade route handing out candy canes and invitations to our Christmas Eve gathering!

There are a number of things happening throughout the village including: Christmas tree lighting immediately following parade, pictures with Santa in the Mason Hall, free horse-drawn wagon rides through the village, a live Nativity and Christmas movie at the United Methodist Church, ugly Christmas sweater contest at the F. Ruggles Building, This-N-That Christmas Open House with a raffle for framed Christmas picture, the Cole Family Christmas tree home tour, not mention cookies, hot cocoa, food trucks, and more!

Come out and mingle with the community!

Details for parade walkers:

  • Parade lineup starts at 6pm at the Byron Elementary School, 401 E. Maple St.

  • The parade route is not very long, but we ask that you be comfortable with walking a long distance, possibly in cold weather.

  • We’ll be singing Christmas Carols and handing out candy canes with invitatins to our Christmas Eve gathering.
