Men, we have an exciting northern Michigan opportunity for you this fall!
New Life Camp, in Rose City, Michigan, puts on a multi-church men’s retreat every October. Last year a few Village Men attended and had a great time. The New Life Camp Men’s Retreat runs from Friday through Sunday, this year, September 23-26.
In cooperation with New Life Camp, we have worked out a Thursday/Friday Village Men exclusive that will blend into the official multi-church retreat on Friday evening. This opens up various options for attendance and involvement from Thursday, September 23rd, through Sunday, September 26th. The official retreat runs through Sunday, but many of us will be returning Saturday evening to gather with our church family on Sunday morning. This is up to each individual to determine.
Purpose of the Weekend: To take necessary time to find rest, relaxation, and encouragement in the Lord, in His Word, and with the brotherhood of His men. Chapel sessions that will challenge us in the Word. There will be plenty of activity time available, however, time to grow in our walk with the Lord is the express intent of this time away together.
Who is it for? Any man age 18 and older. Fathers are welcome to bring their sons, but should use discretion as to appropriate ages.
