Reset 2020: A Worship Night

  • Windemere Farm 13859 South Colby Road Perry, MI, 48872 United States (map)

Reset (verb): to set again or anew; to reset priorities.

Deuteronomy 4:9 “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.  Make them known to your children and your children’s children…..

Reset was birthed, in the fall of 2019, from a desire to take a deep breath after the usual busy summer season. I doubt anyone could have guessed what 2020 had in store for us but if we needed a time to "reset" last year, how much more is it needed this year?

Come and enjoy the day, anytime from 2pm on, full of Christian fellowship, all kinds of yard games (volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, can jam, etc), and a potluck style dinner (hot dogs, etc. will be provided). You are welcome to bring a dish if you have a favorite you would like to share.

At 7pm a time of praise and worship will begin for everyone to engage in and sing along with.  The band this year is comprised of members from several area churches. We will be examining the topic of JUSTIFICATION in song and word. Please make sure and feel free to invite any believing or unbelieving friends and family. Last year, believers from 11 area churches all joined together in worship as one. It is our intent to continue fostering fellowship and community among believers in the area, while affirming the doctrinal foundation of our faith. Join us, as we unite together to worship Christ!

When: Saturday, September 26th, 2020. Fellowship beginning at 2pm. Worship beginning at 7pm.

Who: All are welcome. Please bring your kids! There is no specific childcare but we hope your children will have fun and worship along with us.

Where: Windemere Farm, 13859 S Colby Rd, Perry, MI 48872

What to bring: Chairs, blankets, sweatshirts, yard games, food to roast (we will have basic condiments and napkins, etc.)

COVID Disclaimer: This will be an outdoor worship gathering. Please practice whatever COVID safety precautions you feel are personally appropriate. Please also be prepared to fellowship with others who may have a differing personal conviction. This event is intended to strengthen and encourage. Please bring a willingness to support and embrace others who may think or feel differently about the handling of COVID.
