Sound Doctrine: God the Father

"As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat..." Daniel 7:9

This is one of my favorite verses referencing God in all of Scripture. To me it illustrates the in control nature of the God that we serve. The Eternal Patriarch taking His seat before His realm. The Sovereignty of God is something that takes a long time to come to grips with, but as we do, we start to see Him in a more holy, more worthy, more glorious way!

This week, we will continue Sound Doctrine by looking at the first person of the Trinity, God the Father. This can be a difficult way to view and understand God, especially if your earthly example of a father was not great. Though even if the earthly example that you had was extraordinary, we cannot view God the Father through the lens of our human understanding. We must view Him biblically. Join us this Sunday as we add knowledge to our faith and further our understanding of God the Father.

Grace & Peace,
John
